Paul joined MMP in 1999 and is a director and the finance partner for the practice. Paul works closely with clients ensuring that all communications are dealt with promptly and effectively. Paul’s main strengths are understanding of client needs, together with the ability to converse with them from many different backgrounds, whether building subcontractors or managing directors of successful SME businesses.
Claire joined MMP in 2007 having previously worked in similar sized practices within Kent and is now a director based at our Whitstable office. Claire is the first point of contact for all new clients, identifying their needs and how best to service them, whilst ensuring effective relationships are maintained with our existing clients. Claire has considerable experience in dealing with all sized entities from sole traders to limited companies, in particular owner managed businesses.
Ian is a Fellow Member of the Association of Accounting Technicians with over 30 years’ experience in the accounting profession. Ian joined MMP in 1998 and in 2008 set up our Broadstairs office which he now manages. Ian acts for clients of all sizes and requirements but specialises in business start-ups. He has the ability to provide all clients existing and new, clear and sound advice in every aspect of their business, together with continuing to provide the level of service they have come to expect.
Steve started his accountancy career as a trainee in general practice 1986 before joining MMP, in its original form, in 1994. Steve qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant in 2000.
Steve has extensive knowledge in the preparation of statutory and management accounts and tax returns which enables him to provide accounting, taxation, management information and business planning requirements for a varied portfolio of clients.
Caron started with MMP in May 2002 and progressed through the company to become head of our payroll department responsible for over 200 clients.
Caron is based in our Broadstairs office and is able to assist our clients with all aspects of payroll including CIS and auto enrolment as well as guide our clients through any issues they have with their own payroll software and any payroll issues with HMRC.
Nicola joined MMP as a trainee in 2001 and having qualified, became a Member of the Association of Accounting Technicians in 2006. After working in the Accountancy professional for over 20 years she has gained a wide range of experience. She currently has a very varied role from Bookkeeping & VAT, involving many of the accountancy packages (QuickBooks, Sage, Xero and VT Transaction) through to the preparation of accounts and tax returns for Sole Traders, Partnerships and Limited Companies.
Wendy has over 30 years of accounts experience. She started her training when she left school and started working for MMP in 2000. Wendy works in the accounts team based in Broadstairs, where she prepares Limited Company, partnership and sole-trader accounts together with business and personal tax, VAT and bookkeeping.
Accounts Semi- Senior
Natalie joined MMP in 2012 and having qualified, became a member of the Association of Accounting Technicians in 2014. Natalie is part of the accounts team in Whitstable were her role consists of preparing accounts for Limited companies, partnerships & sole traders as well as corporation tax, partnership and personal tax returns for a variety of clients across a wide range of industries.
Nick joined MMP in 2014 starting as a member of our VAT team. Nick is now part of our accounts team in Whitstable working on limited company accounts, sole traders and partnerships as well as corporate and personal tax returns. Nick also assists clients in a range of accounting software including QuickBooks, Xero and SAGE. Nick is a fully qualified member of the AAT and is now training to become an ACCA qualified Chartered Certified Accountant.
VAT & Book-Keeping Semi-senior
Holly became a member of our team in 2017 after completing her BA in French at King’s College London and is currently studying ACCA. Holly is responsible for VAT and book-keeping duties and is also able to assist clients in a range of accounting software including QuickBooks, Xero and SAGE.
VAT and Book-Keeping Junior
Maria joined MMP in 2015 and having started as an administrator is now part of our very busy VAT team and is well on her way to becoming qualified as a member of the Association of Accounting Technicians.
VAT and Book-Keeping Junior and Social Media
Harry joined MMP in 2015 after spending a year in New Zealand. Harry was initially employed as a payroll assistant but has now moved over to our very busy VAT department. Harry is also involved in managing the company’s social media and continues to provide payroll assistance.
Administrator and Credit Controller
Ashley joined the practice 2016 as an Administrator and has gained much knowledge and experience from working within an accountancy practice and has gone on to become the Credit Controller for the company.
Administrator and Company Secretarial
Sharon joined the practice 2018 as an administrator having previously been a legal secretary and is also responsible for all aspects of company secretarial.
